Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Overview

This policy explains how order cancellations and refunds are generally handled between customers and vendors on the Origalo Platform, and separately, how the annual Origalo Platform fee is billed.

2. Order Cancellations and Refunds (Customer to Vendor)

Each vendor sets and communicates their own cancellation and refund policy for the products they sell, in line with applicable consumer protection law. Customers should review the specific vendor's store policies before placing an order. Origalo is a technology platform and is not the seller of record for products sold by vendors, unless expressly stated otherwise.

Where Cash on Delivery (COD) is used, refunds (if applicable) are typically arranged directly with the vendor.
Where an online payment gateway is used, refunds are processed back through that same payment gateway, subject to the payment provider's own timelines and terms.

3. Origalo Platform Fee

The annual Platform fee (currently ₹4,999 per year, plus applicable taxes) is billed in advance for the subscription period selected at signup. Origalo does not charge a percentage-based commission on vendor sales separately from this fee.

4. Platform Fee Cancellation

Vendors may choose not to renew their Platform subscription at the end of the billing period. Requests to cancel an active subscription before its term ends should be sent to Origalo support, and any refund eligibility will depend on the specific circumstances and the time elapsed in the billing period.

5. Platform Fee Refunds

Refunds of the Platform fee, where applicable, are considered on a case-by-case basis. Origalo does not guarantee refunds for partial use of a subscription period, except where required by applicable law.

6. Third-Party Charges

Payment gateway charges and courier charges incurred through third-party providers connected by a vendor are governed by those providers' own cancellation and refund terms, and are not controlled by Origalo.
